Be Uplifted Inc relies on our wonderful team of dedicated volunteers, and our work is limited only by the funds we raise. During this week of national recognition, we want to say a BIG thank you to all our Volunteers in Brisbane.

All our volunteers make an impact on the lives of breast cancer patients either directly or indirectly.
When you volunteer at Be Uplifted Inc, you will meet new people and make new friends. You will be raising awareness for breast cancer locally and helping to fundraise for our unique breast cancer charity.
We have so many opportunities for volunteering at our breast cancer charity:
- Assist at charity fundraising events: decorating and help to prepare and run events;
- Lending a helping hand at Be Uplifted Inc Op Shops [Link to Fundraise and Op Shop web page]by sorting donations, arranging and displaying stock or working in customer service;
- Raising public awareness as an ambassador at our community displays;
- Be part of our community fundraising BBQ team;
- Assist our Patient Care team by preparing “We Care” Hampers or making food deliveries;
- Delivering “We Care” Hampers or Christmas Hampers to the chemotherapy hospital wards;
- Joining our Tuesday Craft Group to make our crocheted knockers or drain bags and other craft items;
- Assist with our cleaning roster;
- Donate your time to provide your own unique, highly skilled or professional services to breast cancer patients or our organisation (for example massage, manicure/pedicure, beauty services, administration or office services).
All new Volunteers, receive an induction, training and support during their time at Be Uplifted Inc. We do have a volunteer form we need completed, and we encourage you to fill out this form online.
People Not Research
Our motto is “people not research.” There are wonderful charities in Australia connected to breast cancer research or patient care.
Our focus is on local Brisbane people on their breast cancer journey and providing immediate practical and financial support to these individuals and their families.
All donations go directly to support local Brisbane people on a breast cancer journey.
Be Uplifted Inc is a registered charity that provides practical support and financial assistance for real life costs encountered by breast cancer patients and survivors in our local Brisbane community.
