Our Op Shops in Aspley and Zillmere operate Monday till Saturday and receive your donations daily.
All Op Shop proceeds directly provide financial assistance and practical support for men and women in Brisbane currently on a breast cancer journey.
Examples of where our Op Shop revenue helps: paying for household bills while an individual is undergoing breast cancer treatment if there are overwhelming financial obligations for a family or person.
Transportation to and from chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer patients. A wheel chair for a terminally ill breast cancer patient in Brisbane. A new washing machine for a family if one cannot be afforded due to financial hardship whilst trying to meet medical costs of breast cancer treatment.
Your Op Shop donations matter to Be Uplifted Inc and our local Brisbane community. Not all donations we receive can be sold in our Op Shops. This is where our very talented team of sewing volunteers step up.
Our team of sewing volunteers re-purpose donated fabric remnants and clothing – usually denim jeans, that can’t be sold on the racks. Our teams of volunteers create terrific clothing for children, baby bibs, “teen jean” cushions and ladies fabric hand bags.
No donation is wasted at Be Uplifted Inc and every donation you make is valuable in helping us to help others on a breast cancer journey.
