Enjoy a night at the theatre and raise money for breast cancer patients!
On Wednesday 20 June, 2018, Act 1 Theatre is showcasing the play, “How The Other Half Loves” with all money raised helping breast cancer patients.
How The Other Half Loves
How The Other Half Loves is a fast-paced comedy by Sir Alan Ayckbourn.
This hilarious play is presented by Act 1 Theatre and directed by Chris Sargent.
How The Other Half Loves cleverly tells the story of three very different marriages, all headed for trouble as one pair try to cover up their secret love affair.
This period piece set in the autumn of 1969 is full of twists, sharp dialogue and packed with laughter.
The fun story involves hidden motivations, jealousy, and also a few white lies as the couples navigate through more than one sticky situations at two dinner parties.
The clever storyline is enhanced by having two stories both being played out simultaneously on the same set, like a split screen effect.
