Be Uplifted Inc. is supported by wonderfully good hearted and energetic volunteers. All of our volunteers bring to our charity, experience, skills and ideas. We want to introduce you to Virginia.
Virginia in a previous life, worked as a Registered Nurse in a general practice. She hand makes and sews Be Uplifted’s wonderful microwave bowl covers that we sell in our charity op shop and online store. Virginia is also present volunteering in other areas of our Brisbane charity.
What do you love about be Uplifted? Working with Wendy, Co Founder of Be Uplifted Inc and interacting with breast cancer recipients. I love delivering the We Care Packages to our recipients and seeing the joy on their faces.
What is your favourite thing to do when you are not at Be Uplifted? Relaxing at home, knitting and sewing. Going for walks at Sandgate finishing off with a coffee.
If you had $5 left in your wallet, what would you spend it on? Probably a coffee!
Tea or coffee? Tea to start the day and then coffee.
Favourite mantra? To do the best job I can.
