“We have been buying the entertainment book every year from a number of charities for at least the past twelve years and from Be Uplifted Inc on the last three occasions.

Over the years we have saved considerable dollars each year on dining out at restaurants, take out food, car hire and even accommodation around Australia.  

We have used our current 2017/2018 book on twenty three restaurant occasions with savings of $320.  

If we are going out for the day and want to have lunch/dinner we always check the book to see which venues are available in that area.  

There is a wide choice of venues to choose from.  Often the book ‘lives’ in the car in case we come across somewhere to use it. The large range of vouchers encourages you to try out different restaurants/cafes and reduces the cost if you are taking friends out.  

Even if you are dining alone, many of the venues will still give you the discount.  We get together with friends once or twice a year and have a ‘swap’ of favourite vouchers they don’t use and vice versa. You can also help out other organisations by giving them unwanted vouchers.   A nice aspect of the book is that you can choose a voucher for a venue you would never have given a thought to try and then be very pleasantly surprised.    

For us the Entertainment Book is an essential to our social life.”
